Typically, we purchase lists through two major data compilers in the United States: Equifax and Axciom. Equifax collects data from credit reporting, census, and subscriptions. Axciom is a newer database focused on lifestyles, allowing us to create profiles of customers and their buying habits. Our customers usually purchase lists for one-time usage. For multiple mailings or telemarketing, a one-year list purchase is available. However, a Subscription Account Number (SAN) is required to purchase phone numbers. (See FAQS for more information.)
Customers can send us their own databases for mailing. We accept most digital formats. Databases can be merged with purchased lists to check for duplicates names. We can also cleanse your database against the deceased persons list and National Change Of Address. Additionally, we can generate a report indicating bad addresses or changes to addresses so that you may adjust your records.
The most common demographics used are age and income. You can choose from hundreds of demographics, including lifestyles, buying habits, hobbies, home ownership, etc., to create profiles of potential buyers. For example, you might use a list of people that own expensive cars to match with an ad that features images of high-end lifestyles. Typically, customers send us a list of their surrounding zip codes. Or, we can create a list from a radius around a specific address to generate the zip code geography.
Typical lists cost between 4 and 5 cents per name, and 2 cents more for 1-year usage. Deceased persons processing is $50 for set up plus $.0014 per name. NCOA and CASS certification is included in the $55 processing fee we charge to process customer databases and purchased lists.
